I hate it when someone likes me for the wrong reasons, or when a guy wants to “holla at me” so quickly because he thinks I’m cute or pretty when we first meet. I want him to get to know me as a friend before he wants anything more than that. You can’t like someone you don’t even know.

Post - High School

The bad thing about it is that I won’t see a lot of these people any more; the good thing is that I won’t see a lot of these people any more. 

I will be leaving high school with very few true friends that I’ll stay in touch with. Often times, I find that when I am myself around people and try to be the most kind, caring, and open friend I can be, they don’t want me to be that friend; they want someone else to play that role. Then, they go and b about how they have no one there for them. What kind of bs is that? 

I look very forward to college this fall at UH. \n// I’ll be dorming, which is one of the main reasons why I’m so excited!! :) I went to the first orientation last Thursday and Friday, and I think I really got a taste of what college life will be like for me. Can’t wait to meet the Terry family; can’t wait to be on my own for the first time; can’t wait to learn so much. It will be a fresh new start for me, and I hope to meet a lot of people. I plan to have a lot of things on my plate: college, teaching piano, teaching at church, choir, and, of course, family time. My goal for freshman year is to be intellectually / physically / spiritually / emotionally healthy. I know it’s hard, but I’ll strive to do my best.

Busy Month of March

I was laying in bed, trying to sleep for about an hour. But I was too excited about the Variety Show, so I got up and did some more planning. Still up! EXCITED!
